Jess and Louise started Puddleducks as childminders on Colne Road, Winchmore Hill. They were there for 4 years where they created a loving, calm and homely environment for the children to grow in confidence and thrive. Jess and Louise then found a new home on Bury Street West in 2023 where they wanted to grow as a nursery but still keep a homely environment.
Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and grow to their full potential. We are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and care that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of every child in our care.
Jess Bragg – Manager
Meet Jess, one of our co-founders. Jess started her career in early childhood education in 2007, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Puddleducks.
Jess is trained in a variety of early childhood education approaches, including SEN, play-based learning, sensory integration, and social-emotional development. Jess is Level 3 qualified and has all the required training such as Paediatric First Aid, level 2 food safety, safeguarding and child protection, and many others.
Louise Fryer – Manager
Meet Louise, one of our co-founders. With a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to excellence.
Louise brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Puddleducks, with experience in early childhood education and leadership since 2011. Louise is Level 3 qualified and has all the required training such as Paediatric First Aid, level 2 food safety, safeguarding and child protection, and many others.
